We make at least 4 trips to Fort Wayne a year and we will not be staying at this property again due to safety and security reason.
Pros: Room was clean.
Cons: At approximately 1:30am we were awakened by a rattling of the door. I thought it was the bill being slid under the door but, I found no bill. I insured the security lock was moved over and returned to bed. About five minutes later, we again heard the door rattle and then heard a key card slid into the lock, unlocking the door and someone tried to enter the room. I slammed the door back shut quickly but who ever had open the door had fled. When I called the front desk to report it, I received a stuttering response and no answers. The next morning I went to the desk to again inquire what happened. The clerk apologized and said he had seen a note about something occurring. He could provide me with no information. When we returned to the room, our key would not work. We returned to the desk and again received no explanation as to why the night desk clerk had apparently programmed a key for a stranger to enter our room. After bringing all these concerns to the desk and receiving no explanations, there has been no follow up from the management of the hotel.

Pros:
Cons: Old, worn out, .. You don't get the impression that it is clean. Just because you vacuum a 10 year old hotel carpet, is it clean? Every other hotel I've stayed at in this tier has been better. It wasn't horrible, but I was expecting something nice.

Pros: Free appetizer night!! It saved me from having to go out (after a 90 minute drive to the hotel) and find someplace to get dinner! Never saw that at a Hampton Inn before, sweet!

Pros: The rooms are clean and the hotel was quiet. The staff were helpful and the location was perfect. I loved the added touch of make-up remover wipes in the bathrooms.
Cons: There were no washcloths in the bathroom.
