Pros: Everything went smoothly. We arrived very late because of being held up for two hours by a accident on the highway. It was nice to roll in, get my key and go to bed.
Cons: The highway noise was very bad. I sleep with earplugs and even with those in, I could hear the highway noise which did affect my sleep. Our room was in the back of the hotel. Perhaps those facing the front don't have the same noise issue.

Cons: The room had a very strong chlorine smell. We were told if we could leave the room (at 9PM) for 45 min they could put a machine in the room to take care of the smell. How about doing that prior to guest check-in! I was given some febreeze to help cover the smell. I will never again book a room that has a chlorine pool. The Hampton on DuPont was an amazing place to stay last year, the Hampton North location is so inferior in comparison. Also, there was no furniture in the room other than the beds...no chairs/sofa

Cons: The room & bed was dirty. I went out in hall to get housekeeper I was told she don't clean this & that. Reported her to front desk was told yes she does. Front desk told her to clean the room & it was never cleaned. Woke up to a bug crawling on my back I flicked it off got dressed & checked out!

Pros: Great location, good breakfast, the manager was nice and very helpful. We were even placed on the 4th floor which was awesome. This Hampton Inn will be our go to hotel for Fort Wayne stays.
Cons: Hotel could use some updating such as carpeting, newer chairs, window curtains. Plus we had the same problem last year too. Not sure if it was the key cards or the door lock. But, we kept having issues unlocking our rooms door with both cards.

Pros: We liked the complementary breakfast. The location was good for us too. The pool is heated. The Place is clean and the staff is very friendly & helpful.
Cons: We didn't have a microwave in our room. There also wasn't a common area microwave.
The pool is small. there are NO BATHROOMS in or near the pool area....you have to go to the lobby or back to you room.

Pros: Staff was great and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and they even provide a go meal when we checked out at 4am.
Cons: We thought selected a two queen bedroom suite however it was just a two queen bedroom. We really wanted to change our selection to a suite however because we booked thru a third party the hotel told a we had to contact the third party company (booking.com) but after driving 15 hours with three kids (>1, 7 & 11) we were just too tried. The room was extremely tight and we were unable to use our baby crib.
Also it appeared the closet had not been vacuumed or checked prior to our arrival.

Nice, friendly place to stay
Pros: The front desk person was very welcoming. She made us feel very welcome. Despite being overrun by the breakfast crowd, she maintained a positive attitude and helpful demeanor.
Cons: We were disappointed that the pool was closed due to an throw-up incident in the pool, so no fault of the hotel staff and I did appreciate the safety precautions the staff took to ensure sanitary pool conditions.
