Indiana Medical History Museum is n. on Warman Ave. from Washington St., then w. to 3045 W. Vermont St. Guided tours take visitors through the 1896 Old Pathology Building, which was once used to study mental and nervous disorders. Features include more than 15,000 medical artifacts, laboratories, a 1950s office, an amphitheater formerly used as a medical classroom and a medicinal garden. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$10; $5 (college students with ID); $3 (ages 0-18).
Hours: Tours depart on the hour Thurs.-Sat. 10-4. Last tour begins 1 hour before closing. Closed Jan. 1, July 4, Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Dec. 31. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
