Masonic Schofield House

Masonic Schofield House is at jct. Poplar and W. Second sts. at 217 W. Second St. The restored Federal-style house was the site of the first meeting held by the Indiana Freemasons; the Grand Lodge was formed here in 1818. Furnished in period, the building boasts fine flooring, walls, brickwork and handmade glass windows.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
