Classic. This restaurant has been in continuous operation for some 60 years on a little hilltop north of town. It is noted for fried chicken, Spencer steak (a one pound boneless rib-eye) and friendly service. Family-style service involves large portions meant to be split among the group of diners. Entrées of homemade comfort food such as ham and roast turkey are served with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and fresh yeast rolls with marmalade.
