Historic. Housed in an 1837 brewery, this restaurant is named for a founder of the former Terre Haute Brewing Company. Pieces of equipment from the facility, as well as other artifacts, decorate the dining room. The barbecue pork loin sandwich is yummy, as is drunken cod: beer-battered white fish chunks. Burgers, pizza and sandwiches are the main draw on the menu, along with heartier American fare. The impressive selection of beers include popular domestic brands, imports and microbrews.
