Mamie Doud Eisenhower Birthplace is at 709 Carroll St. The restored Victorian-era frame house features a summer kitchen and furniture from Mrs. Eisenhower's family. In the master bedroom is the bed where Mamie was born. Museum exhibits depict the first lady's life and family history. A 1949 Chrysler Windsor and the first lady's 1962 Plymouth Valiant are on the grounds. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
