Floyd County Historical Museum is on US 18/218 Bus. Rte. at 500 Gilbert St. A 1900 drugstore exhibit includes a prescription counter, shelves of quaint medicines and old-fashioned remedies, and a soda fountain with jars of penny candy. Also displayed is “Old Reliable,” a 1913 Model 30-60 tractor made by Hart-Parr Co., one of the country's first tractor manufacturers. The museum also has exhibits of tractor memorabilia and a restored 1852 log cabin.
