AAA Inspector Notes
This hotel has a contemporary style in its guest rooms, and yet a very classic, formal ballroom. Don't miss either the original stained-glass skylight in the lobby, or the bowling alley nightclub. You will also note a Presidential Seal beside the restaurant's menu listing of its signature cinnamon-brined grilled Iowa pork chops. This is because President Obama stayed at the property, and when he dined in the restaurant, he loved this dish so much that he requested the recipe be forwarded onto his personal chef at the White House. Smoke free premises. 130 units, some two bedrooms and kitchens. 11 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: Cafe, rooms, etc
Cons: Pillows were to big, and not a lot of variety on bed to pick from.

Pros: A beautiful traditional fine hotel with the amenities and the service to match. We would strongly advise at least one dinner in their in-house restaurant. The hotel and the restaurant are on the pricey side, but worth every dollar.

Pros: Room, staff and location were all great. We traveled with 2 little dogs, and that wasn't an issue at all.
Cons: Food from the restaurant was not the best, and because of that seemed overpriced.

Pros: My room was both spacious and stylish, with a number of small touches that bespoke real attention to detail. I also didn't expect ample on-site parking for free.
