Iowa Aviation Museum is 1 mi. n. on SR 25 at 2251 Airport Rd. Exhibits and memorabilia chronicle the state's aviation history from the first recorded flight in 1910 to modern space exploration. Civil and military aircraft include a 1928 Curtiss Robin, a 1941 DeHavilland Tiger Moth, an A-7 Corsair jet and a Huey Cobra helicopter. The Iowa Aviation Hall of Fame honors men and women who have contributed to the growth of aviation. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
