Cedar Rock-The Walter Residence is 2 mi. n.w. on CR W35 to 2611 Quasqueton Diagonal Blvd. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the house was built 1948-50 on a bluff overlooking the Wapsipinicon River. Cedar Rock is an example of a simplified residential architecture called Usonian. Nearly every aspect of the house—the furniture, carpets, draperies and accessories—reflects Wright's imprint.
