Spirit Lake Fish Hatchery

Spirit Lake Fish Hatchery is .9 mi. n.e. on 18th St./US 71/SR 9, then 1.1 mi. n. on Pioneer Beach Rd./CR M56 to 122 252nd Ave. In addition to turtle exhibits, the hatchery has five aquariums with fish indigenous to northwestern Iowa. Visitors can view the hatching area where walleye, northern pike and muskellunge are raised.
