Pros: Location and view and staff
Pros: We have stayed there before and love the location, the view and the staff.
Cons: We liked it all.
Pros: Heated pool
Pros: clean specious rooms and friendly waiters.
Cons: everthing was better than average
Pros: The hotel is perfectly situated on the water in the lovely town of Ajijic. The gardens and facilities are very good. The biggest benefits the hotel offers are proximity to the town and the views over the lake.
Cons: The hotel is concrete and gets very cold at night during the winter months. There is no heating or A/C system and no heater was provided. The beds are quite short, about 180 cm or less, so taller guests are going to find things a bit uncomfortable. The doors and windows are not soundproofed and with tile floors in the hallways there is a lot of sound audible in the room.... which is to say, it can get very noisy, especially with all of the events that the hotel hosts on weekends.
Pros: Best view on Lake Chapala!!!
Excellent restaurant service and housekeeping staff.
Cons: Intermittent Wi-Fi.. inaccessible for hours at a time.
Cold meat on the breakfast buffet,
no shower door which caused the floor and bathroom door to get wet
Pros: beautiful grounds.
Cons: no coffee maker - no wash cloths - no hot water in the shower
Pros: the hotel/ view
Cons: wifi connection
Pros: The staff at the Hotel make the trip very enjoyable. Old Fashion quality service
Pros: the vuew if the lake abd big rooom
Cons: no air conditioning
Pros: The view to the lake, swiming pool, jacuzzi, beds
Cons: The locations are old, need to be restored. Breakfast should be included

Pros: It was clean and spacious and grounds were kept very tidy as well. Liked the tile floors in the rooms as they get mopped every day which leaves the room smelling clean, as opposed to some old musty smelling carpet.
Cons: Stayed in two separate rooms there and both rooms had badly damaged mirrors in the bathroom. Didn't really bother me but I have to admit it looks pretty poor.

Pros: The wait staff couldn't do enough for us. We saw them morning and evening and they were warm, attentive, and most helpful with my sister's and my language faux pas!
The view is incredible with 2 pools and a hot tub.
Was sorry to leave our friends at Real de Chapala.
Cons: Yes, the place is a little dated, and we would have loved a blow dryer and a coffee maker, but the people were well worth the lack.
Cons: I thought that the fact the front desk would not even attempt to speak Engish was pretty poor. Even with my Engish to Spanish, Spanish to English directory they would not speak anything but Spanish.
I did not like the bed. It was hard.
I did not like the wi-fi, I had to get another couple to set it up for me.
as I said before, the front desk would
not even try.
I did not like the location, was too far
to walk to downtown.
Pros: Property, staff, service and ambiance.
Cons: Rooms while spacious had old/worn out fixtures, broken things, bathroom door wouldn't close. Could not make calls from room, except local calls. Bed was hard as a rock.
Pros: Staff are very attentive.
Best hotel option in Ajijic.
Cons: Hard bed. Loud fan instead of AC.
The whole place is due for a thorough updating.
