University of Guadalajara Museum of Arts

University of Guadalajara Museum of Arts (Museo de las Artes de la Universidad de Guadalajara) is opposite the main building on Juárez at Av. Enrique Díaz de León. It occupies a beautiful early 20th-century edifice that was once a primary school. The permanent collection consists primarily of contemporary Jaliscan and Mexican artists; traveling exhibitions are mounted regularly. Also on display are early Orozco murals.
