AAA Inspector Notes
A beachfront setting, activity-oriented tropical pool and several good restaurants are among the highlights of this all-inclusive resort. Rooms and suites feature bright, contemporary décor. Units facing the tennis courts lack an ocean/pool view, but do offer more peace and quiet.
Smoke free premises. 285 units, some two bedrooms and efficiencies. 4 stories, interior corridors. Bath: shower only.
Pros: The all inclusive is amazing. You really get your money's worth. All the staff at friendly and before you have finished your drink they are already bringing you another! Love the daily activities around the pool. The restaurants and buffet is great also. Perfect location, about 10 mins drive to downtown via can. The staff are constantly cleaning, the grounds are immaculate. Security at each entry to ensure that no strangers walk in which is comforting.
Cons: I found the bed to be a little hard but other than that everything was perfect.
Pros: The restaurants were good
Cons: Everything is shabby already
Pros: The staff was great and the food was really good.
Cons: The beds were hard and I got bit up by bed bugs!
We only stayed for 3...
Pros: The staff was so unbelievably friendly. It was amazing! We loved that there was a quiet pool, and my husband loved the ceviche bar hidden in the back. We enjoyed some karaoke which was also a bonus!
Cons: One thing I did notice that I did not like was that there were pigeons walking all over the food in the snack bar. I wouldn't eat from there after I noticed that on my first day. Also, that people reserve their chairs even though there are signs everywhere telling you not to no one seems to care.
Pros: The food was good but should definitely be improved with better tasting desserts.
Cons: The wifi connection was horrible. It was never consistent constantly going in and out of connection.
Won't Be Returning
Pros: The check in staff was very nice. The place was very close to the beach.
Cons: Upon arrival, the front desk had no knowledge of my reservation. I had to login to the Internet and show them my booking.com reservation.
The restaurants need to be included in the stay. Don't make your guests RSVP for one or the other. The "pool view" was actually a construction view. There was no pool outside our window, but there was an opening where the pool should have been and the sound of construction hammers every morning to wake us up for mediocre breakfast. There was a painter there chipping off pieces of the stucco and paint in the middle of the walkway. Not a very pleasant or relaxing experience. Food and drinks just ok. I won't return.
Pros: The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming
Cons: Limited dinner options included
Do not stay here if...
Cons: This is not a quiet Resort. There is loud music, an obnoxious staff leader trying to get everyone involved in his activities almost all day. It was not relaxing and the food was marginal at best. You can't even get a reservation at the best restaurant, the surf and turf.
