If you like low key, feels like home away from home, then this is a good place for you. If you want up-scale, go to Dreams. We very much enjoyed our stay, we like low key, wear what you feel comfy in to the resturant,no snobbery, relax and enjoy....towel service at the pool was BAD but they explained that they had ordered new towels and had not recieved them and by the end of our week there were no issues....I guess you can't count on delivery times in Mexico. Over all was a fantastic trip.
Pros: Good location and the swimming lagoon
Cons: pool towel service was lacking

My feedback may be different from that of an individual with financial interest in this hotel, i.e. timeshare owners, etc; therefore, my feedback and comments are honest and candid. At the time of my stay, the hotel was rated 3 star. It is not 3 star hotel. Pictures and description of rooms and hotel facilities are misleading. The hotel rooms need a lot of maintenance, they have poor air conditioning system. Balcony doors do not close properly and you get all the noise from outside. Elevator is horrible - very small and very slow. Hotel pool is very small and it gets very crowded. Their food is generally good and reasonably priced. We, unfortunately, had a negative experience with one of our dinners. My kid's dinner plate (pasta salad) had a small piece of glass. Fortunately, my kid was not hurt. We did not make a "big deal" about it, but did mention it to the staff. With the exception of the busboy who replaced my kid's plate right away, no one (including the person on charge - "the captain" who became aware of the incident) even bother to take the time to apologize. I had stayed in this hotel before, but for sure that was the last time I would be staying there. I would rate this hotel a 2 star which would make their room rates very expensive. I had stayed in this hotel before, but for sure that was the last time I would be staying there.
Pros: The only thing I like about the hotel is the beach which may or may not be part of the hotel itself!
Cons: It is not a 3 star hotel. Elevator is horrible - very small and very slow. Rooms are falling apart - poor air conditioning system.

Great pool above the beach. The food was good with a nice variety. On Saturdays there is a Mexican show that goes along with dinner. Very cool
Pros: This hotel has a breakwater that protects the beach and brings an abundance of fish and other sea creatures. Being south of Puerto Vallarta the water is clear and the mountains beautiful. The public bus is an easy ride into the city. Lots of things to do
Cons: The studios have been updated but the one and two bedroom units are about due to be updated. Still nice though with incredible views from the porches.

Pros: Off the beaten path resort.
Cons: Don't expect much from the A/C systems. I tried two different rooms. Screens and windows allow bugs into room. Far from the rating advertised.

Pros: view of the bay
Cons: Staff was rude sometimes, newly renovated "honeymoon " room was ok until the light fixtures in the ceiling began to catch fire and fill the place with burning plastic fumes. No other rooms available to move us to so had to air it out for hours aftre.
