AAA Editor Notes
Wabaunsee County Historical Museum, 227 Missouri St., presents exhibits relating to the county’s history. A dentist’s office, general store, doctor's office and schoolroom reflect the early 1900s. Displays include Native American artifacts, Civil War and World War II exhibits featuring Kansas native Gen. Lewis Walt, a 1926 Model A car, washing machines, quilts, typewriters and a 1923 Reo fire truck.

Additional exhibits are the Beecher Bible & Rifle Church display, buggies, box wagons and carriages, an 1880s McCormick Reaper, a rifle and musket display and special traveling exhibits. Genealogy information is augmented by a large photo collection.
