Mennonite Heritage & Agricultural Museum, 200 N. Poplar St., includes a replica of the barracks-like temporary housing built for arriving immigrants. The Turkey Red Wheat Palace displays farm implements and a 6-foot Liberty Bell made from straw and wheat kernels. The Friesen and Krause houses, Schroeder Barn, South Bloomfield and Goessel Preparatory schools, and Goessel State Bank were moved to the museum for preservation. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
