The Post Rock Museum is at 202 W. First St. Post rock, a form of limestone common to this region of the state, was used extensively from the late 1870s to the mid-1930s for fence posts and in constructing bridges, houses, churches and other buildings. Displays explain how the rock was found, quarried and used. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
