Spencer Museum of Art is at 1301 Mississippi St., on the University of Kansas campus; parking is available next to the university union. The museum, which contains more than 40,000 objects in its permanent collection, ranks among the finest university art museums in the country. Strengths are in Renaissance and baroque painting; American paintings and sculpture; the decorative arts of Europe, America and Asia; and graphic arts, including photographs and Japanese prints.
Permanent and changing exhibits are displayed.
