Garden of Eden is at 305 E. 2nd St. Surrounding a 1907 stone and concrete cabin, the garden features peculiar concrete figures on the ground and perched in trees. By the time he was finished, S.P. Dinsmoor had used more than 113 tons of cement to make statues, which include biblical figures and allegorical characters expressing his social and political beliefs. Dinsmoor’s body can be viewed in a glass-covered stone coffin that he built.
