Rolling Hills Wildlife Museum is at Rolling Hills Zoo, 625 N. Hedville Rd. The museum leads visitors through elaborate dioramas representing seven distinct environments. Realistic robots, representing peoples from around the world, carry on a dialogue with visitors and each other about the delicate balance between man and nature. The museum also features a 360-degree, domed movie theater, an interactive children’s gallery filled with hands-on displays and an area for traveling exhibits. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
Museum and zoo $12.50; $11.50 (ages 65+); $6 (ages 3-12). Movie $2.
Hours: Daily 8-5, Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day; 9-5, mid-Mar. through day before Memorial Day weekend and day after Labor Day-Thanksgiving weekend; 9-4, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
