Classic. As the name implies, this restaurant is tiny. In fact, opened in 1922, it is one of the few six-stool diners still in operation and a must stop for any trip through Salina. The silver dollar-sized burgers, made from onions and ground beef, have not changed since it opened. You can ask for ketchup, mustard and a pickle, but never cheese. An American treasure, the flavorful sliders are memorable. The walk-up window is constantly buzzing. Once you walk in the door, the smell of grilled onions is strong and it can stick with you all day. Grab a bag from the walk-up window and eat outside to cut down on any lasting odors.
