The Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History, in Spalding Hall, chronicles the history of the American whiskey industry. The collection exhibits rare documents, advertising posters and other memorabilia from pre-Colonial days through the 1960s. Also displayed are a 60-gallon copper still made in 1787 as well as whiskey bottles and containers, including an 1854 E.C. Booz bottle, the brand from which the word “booze” originated. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
