Dining on jambalaya, sipping on Sazerac and listening to a jazz band at this Covington restaurant transport me to the French Quarter in New Orleans.
AAA Inspector Notes
With antique marble floors and tin ceiling, this restaurant could be in the French Quarter of New Orleans. While imbibing the atmosphere and live music, enjoy the classic preparations of jambalaya, shrimp Creole and blackened halibut. If the New Orleans cuisine does not catch your fancy, try the tournedos of beef topped with sauces like béarnaise and chicken piccata. Pastas, such as fettuccine Alfredo, also are available. Every Monday the restaurant offers half-price wine and appetizers.
