Yuko-En on the Elkhorn is .7 mi. n. on US 25 (N. Broadway). This Japanese stroll garden along Elkhorn Creek is a bluegrass landscape and honors the tie between Georgetown and its sister city of Tahara, Japan. As the official Kentucky-Japan Friendship garden, it features trees native to Kentucky, arched bridges, decorative lanterns, koi ponds, waterfalls, a Kentucky-Japanese (Raku) Pottery Center, a Zen rock garden, a teahouse and Japanese villa in the park’s 6 acres.
