Robert Penn Warren Birthplace Museum, at the corner of Third and Cherry sts., was the boyhood home of America’s first poet laureate, Robert Penn Warren. Author of 10 novels and 16 volumes of poetry, Warren lived in Guthrie for the first 16 years of his life, 1905-21. Photographs, books and other items pertaining to the life and works of the author are displayed. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
