Pennyroyal Area Museum, 217 E. 9th St., is in the old post office building. Exhibits pertain to agriculture, clothing, antique toys and vintage vehicles as well as the Civil War and other momentous events in the history of southwestern Kentucky. The museum also displays memorabilia of clairvoyant Edgar Cayce. An annex houses the Woody Winfree Fire Transportation Museum; among its historic vehicles is a 1909 Buick Model 10.
