This winery restaurant is set in the pleasant, rolling countryside of the Kentucky Bluegrass region. Enjoy estate wines paired with locally produced cheeses. In season most of the vegetables on the menu also are locally produced. An excellent example of a locally dish is the endive salad with blue-cheese dressing. For an entrée, I suggest the roast chicken accompanied by mashed potatoes and bacon blue cheese Brussels sprouts. Conclude your meal with a fruit cobbler or crème brûlée. This winery produces a wide array of wines, ranging from crisp whites like the Viognier to full-bodied reds like the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. There is even an ice wine that would pair well with one of the desserts.
