AAA Editor Notes
Louisville Metro Hall, 527 W. Jefferson St. between 5th and 6th sts., was designed by noted Kentucky architect Gideon Shryock and served as the Jefferson County Courthouse until city and county governments combined. In the rotunda is Joel T. Hart’s marble statue of Henry Clay; in front of the 1836 building is a statue of Thomas Jefferson by Moses Ezekiel.
