A horse statue attired in a business suit and bearing a briefcase, which graces the entrance, is a playful reminder of Louisville's equestrian heritage. Guest rooms are spacious and have large desks. The hotel has a lending locker with cooking utensils. Guest rooms, which have green-and-white walls, have a cheerful décor
Smoke free premises. 100 efficiencies. 3 stories, interior corridors.
Cons: Couldn't get the t.v switched over to the dvd player
Cons: Made 2 reservations in Jan 2016. Received a handicap room with only 1 chair. Had to ask for second chair. Facility remote from restaurants. Probably won't stay at a Candlewood again.

review category group of friends
Pros: The staff was friendly; Excellent location to Mega Cavern, Interstate, and restaurants; Hotel was very "tourist friendly" - dvds, games, other household items to borrow, often for free; Shop, albeit small, offered many items travelers often forget or need; Very reasonably priced for what you get.
Cons: This may be the only gripe I had (I was the only one of the 4 of us who really was bothered with it), but it seems like the contractors who built it cut a lot of corners on the finishing touches. You can notice it in how the drywall looked, both in the room, and elsewhere. The hole for one of the outlets was oversized, so the outlet cover didn't cover the hole. The carpet trim in the hallway that goes up the base of the wall about an inch or so had sagged down for about 5 or 6 feet long. Maybe it's because I have done so much handyman sort of stuff at home that I noticed this. regardless, I definitely recommend this hotel. We all loved how close it was to Mega Cavern, which was about 5 minutes away.
Pros: Fit our needs
Pros: For one night or longer the room had the commidations for feel right at home.
Pros: For me the location was perfect, but for others it might be a bit isolated as it's in a mainly business area.
Cons: None really except, as I put in the like column, for me the location was perfect, but for others it might be a bit isolated as it's in a mainly business area..
Pros: The size of the suite. The kitchenette and the availability of food to by.
Pros: Convenient location. Comfortable pillows.
Cons: Boiler broke,no hot water oNE day. Front door was not automatic. And you couldn't prop it open either. VERY DIFFICULT TO ROLL THE LUGGAGE CART THROUGH THE DOOR. Which had a high threshold.
Pros: Staff was extremely helpful
Cons: Would have been nicer if room had two desks/ work surfaces versus one
Pros: Sandy was very helpful and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and was so appreciative to have a room on the first floor. Definitely would stay here again.
Cons: Very quiet location but a bit off the beaten path!
Pros: People was nice, the hotel was clean and the room was large.
Cons: The recliner look broken and the couch was uncomfortable, everything else was good.
Pros: The hotel was convientiently located to most of the things in Louisville that we wanted to see. The setup of the hotel room was kind of like an apartment, with the bedroom in a separate room.
Cons: Upon going to get a coffee mug from the cabinet, I discovered it had been used by the previous guest. I know the housekeeper can't check every "clean" glass but at least be respectful and put the dirty one in the dishwasher.
