Disappointing
08-11-2017
Good location, but other hotels in same area. Pick somewhere else. I've stayed at a lot of Marriott hotels, this was not typical of my past experiences. The building had the look that it should and the rooms looked great, but cheap construction since I could hear the guest next door on his cell as clear as if he was in my room.
Pros: Excellent location. Heart of town, all within walking distance.
Cons: $27 a day for parking, never disclosed or posted. The staff were rude, dismissive, and aloof. Walls were very thin could hear guest in adjacent room.

Very Good

Pros: The bed pillows, water pressure, abundance of power outlets and functionality of desk. Marriott pillows are the best.
Cons: 17th floor lounge closed so I was given breakfast vouchers; not a great trade for the extra cost of the room, but not a big deal to me.

Pros: Great water pressure in the shower. Morning coffee order arrived in 10 minutes. Staff friendly and cheerful.
Cons: My evening coffee in "Champions" was lukewarm and tasted like a leftover from lunch; not a big deal, but I still remember it!

Pleasant

Pros: Location.
Cons: Construction going on. Jack-hammering woke us up first at 8am. Then at 8:30&9*:30am housekeeping knocked on door. We stayed at the Hyatt which was cheaper, just as nice and included free WI-FI and parking. Next time I'll stay at The Hyatt.
