AAA Inspector Notes
This is an older-style hotel with units that are like individual apartments. One good point is that you can park near your room, but a drawback is that you may have to walk through snow or rain. The lobby is small but there is an upstairs breakfast area that is spacious. Penthouse rooms have a downstairs bedroom, plus a second bedroom upstairs. The latter is not separated by a door. Smoke free premises. 96 units, some two bedrooms, efficiencies and kitchens. 2 stories (no elevator), exterior corridors.

Very good customer service experience.
Pros: When I first checked in I had an issue with my bank and the card I used was declined. It took me about 15 minutes to get this resolved. I had such a pleasant conversation with a young man at the front desk by the name of Chris. He was so helpful and took this time to explain where the room was and where breakfast was. Not once did he make me feel like I was wasting his time due to the bank hiccup I was waiting for resolution on. Further, I was traveling with my wife, 15 year old son, and twin 1 year old boys. The first day at breakfast there was a lady (I feel terrible I did not get her name) and she made everyone feel so comfortable as they came in and for the entire meal. She asked about our boys and if we allowed them to have chocolate chip cookies. We told her yes and the conversation moved on. The next day at breakfast she had a special box of cookies made up for the boys!! Who does this anymore? I want to thank the staff for making my and my family feel so welcome.
Cons: The only negative thing was that the rooms were dated which they were in the process of remodeling. Also when I was leaving, I looked under the bed and there were socks that belonged to somebody else. This tells me that the room was not thoroughly cleaned.
