Governor Ruby Laffoon’s Birthplace, 107 Union St., is a restored log cabin furnished as it was when the former governor lived there in the late 1800s. Also on the grounds is the Historical Society and Museum, which displays old photographs, Civil War items and other artifacts relating to the period. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
