Owensboro Museum of Fine Art, 901 Frederica St., occupies two historical structures—the former Carnegie library and a restored pre-Civil War-era home. The museum has permanent exhibits featuring 19th- to 20th-century American and European paintings, drawings and sculpture; 14th- to 18th-century decorative arts; German stained glass; Appalachian folk art; two outdoor sculpture parks; and changing exhibits.
