Country Music Highway Museum, just off US 23 on SR 40 next to the tourism office, has exhibits honoring country singers, including Frank “Hylo” Brown, Billy Ray Cyrus, Crystal Gayle, Tom T. Hall, Rebecca Lynn Howard, The Judds, Patty Loveless, Loretta Lynn, Ricky Skaggs, Chris Stapleton, Gary Stewart, Keith Whitley and Dwight Yoakam, who all hail from communities along US 23, also known as the Country Music Highway. Live bluegrass music is offered during Front Porch Pickin every Thursday at 7 p.m. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$4; $3 (students with ID).
Hours: Mon.-Sat. 9-5. Closed Jan. 1 and Christmas.
