Adsmore Museum

Adsmore Museum, 304 N. Jefferson St., is the former residence of four generations of the Smith-Garrett family. Purchased in the early 1900s, the family added several Federal-style touches to this 1850s brick mansion, including a columned portico. The rooms in the manor include original furnishings and are decorated according to specific periods in the residents’ lives, such as the marriage of one of the family members in 1907. Seven other decorative themes are presented during the year.
