Kentucky Reptile Zoo, .5 mi. s. of Mountain Pkwy. off SR 11 at 200 L&E Railroad Pl., features numerous live reptile exhibits including more than 100 species of snakes, lizards, turtles and alligators. The zoo also features live reptile presentations and venom extractions.

Guided tours and educational lectures are available.

Daily 11-6, Memorial Day-Labor Day; Fri.-Sun. 11-6, Mar. 1-Fri. before Memorial Day and day after Labor Day-Nov. 30 (weather permitting). Live reptile presentations are held daily at 1, 3 and 5. Phone ahead for venom extractions schedule. Allow 1 hour minimum.
