Natural Bridge State Resort Park is 2.5 mi. s.e. off Mountain Pkwy. Within Daniel Boone National Forest, Kentucky’s Natural Bridge is 20 feet wide at the top, 12 feet thick at the arch's center and 78 feet long at the base opening. The sandstone bridge is accessible by trails or a skylift, with the skylift ascent starting a half-mile from the park entrance. Park highlights include Balanced Rock, Devil’s Gulch, a cave and a nature center featuring interpretive exhibits. An open-air dance patio offers square dances on Friday and Saturday evenings in summer.
