Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay is at jct. I-65 and I-264; take Fair & Expo Center exit to 937 Phillips Ln. Highlights at the 63-acre park include the Storm Chaser, T3, Thunder Run and Lightning Run roller coasters along with FearFall, Skycatcher, Cyclos, the Kentucky Flyer, Raging Rapids River Ride, the Giant Wheel and Mile High Falls. King Louie's Playland contains 11 children's rides. The Aqua Theater features rescued sea lions in a comical show, while the “5D Cinema—Movies You Ride” presents The Wizard of Oz 5D Experience.
Guests should bring swimsuits to enjoy the expansive Hurricane Bay water park, where they can relax on Buccaneer Beach, float along Castaway Creek, ride the swift current of Adventure River, ride the waves in the Big Surf Wave Pool or splash in the Wave Lagoon. Visitors can also take the plunge on the Deep Water Dive body slide, try the many slides at Wikiwiki Wai or Mt. Slide Hai or zip through the twists and turns of Plummet Summit, a family raft ride.
