This historic hotel has been restoreed to provide a glimpse into Baton Rouge's past. It celebrates the glory years of legendary governor Huey P. Long. The hotel's original facade has been preserved. Due to the historic character of the original building, rooms can vary in size, but all are comfortable and well appointed; some units boast nice views of the river. Excellent works by local artists are presented throughout the public spaces. The downtown location is convenient to the riverfront, museums and convention facilities.
