The rooms at this boutique property are large and have some upscale appointments. Bathrooms feature some large tubs and black marble accents. Although no breakfast or food is served, you can walk to several good downtown restaurants.
Smoke free premises. 20 units. 2 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
Pros: The bathtub was huge. The bed was comfy. And the hotel itself was wonderfully historic with modern updates and conveniences. Such a pleasant surprise.
Cons: There weren't many channels on tv, but that wasn't a big deal. Had all the sports channels and that's all that mattered so, no big negatives about this place.

Pros: Spacious rooms were beautiful and bathroom was awesome. We loved the large gathering room in the space between the rooms. It would be a perfect place for large groups of people to stay and visit.
Cons: There was no refrigerator but everything else was immaculate!
Pros: Pretty place, but could have more amenities
Cons: When we checked in we were told that the hot water heater was broken, but would be fixed first thing in the morning. First thing the next morning it wasn't fixed & it took until about 3pm that day to get hot water. This seems unacceptable for a hotel. Also, no fridge or microwave or coffee maker in rooms. Coffee carafes were available in the lobby, but no way to make hot tea. The closest breakfast restaurant was 5 blocks away, which was inconvenient. Would not stay here again. Next time it's a more modern hotel!
Pros: Extremely spacious room
Cons: An in room fridge
Pros: One of the best stays I've had in awhile. It was charming & quaint; a new favorite!
Pros: The location to the event and the staff.
family with young children
Pros: Everything was nice and "homey" and comfy
Cons: Musty smell in the room I stayed.

Pros: Staff was very friendly
Pros: If you are looking for a place to stay for a downtown festival this is the place. I stayed in room #205
Cons: The hotel has more rooms than was expected, which is not a bad thing. The room itself was surfaced clean. There was accumulated dust and condom wrappers between the bed and wall and there was a slight odor which I could not detect. I would say if you are looking for a place to take your mistress or a weekend hookup this would be the place. I take it that management does not inspect the rooms very often for cleanliness. The parking is unsecured and knowing what I know about downtown Lafayette, don't bring a nice car with you. There are hotels down Pinhook and close to the river that have better equal value and are no more than a 2-5 min. drive depending on traffic from downtown.
Pros: Good location if you are staying downtown. Staff friendly and helpful, and gave excellent suggestions re where to eat (try the Pamplona Tapas Bar.) Pool was clean and was nice to have although small and not very attractive.
Cons: No taxis available if you arrive at the Greyhound station late in evening, but it is only a 15 min walk to the hotel. Booking.com website said coffee makers and towelling robes in room - neither of these are now provided (change of management) though there is free flask coffee available in lounge. There isn't a great deal to do in downtown area - and what there is is closed on Mondays.
Pros: Large spacious room with a comfortable bed.
Cons: While the room was very clean, it's difficult to tell because the furnishings and carpet are so worn.
Pros: very friendly and helpful staff.
excellent complimentary coffee.
Cons: rooms a bit dark due to small windows and heavy curtains.
