Louisiana State Cotton Museum is at 7162 US 65. Housed in a rural plantation setting, this museum commemorates the history and heritage of cotton cultivation in Louisiana. Hands-on exhibits and outdoor displays include a collection of blues music and instruments, an authentic sharecropper's cabin and an original Gullet Cotton Gin, circa 1920. A cotton field is cultivated on the grounds.
