Otis House is at 119 Fairview Dr. in Fairview-Riverside State Park. Facing the Tchefuncte River and surrounded by moss-draped oak trees, Otis House was built in the 1880s as part of a lumber mill, then purchased and renovated in the 1920s by Frank Otis, a mahogany importer. The Queen Anne-style house in the 99-acre park contains antiques and family memorabilia. Visitors learn about local industries and culture from knowledgeable tour guides.
