Pitot House Museum is at 1440 Moss St. This West Indies-style Creole country house was built in the late 18th century. The house was moved to its present site and meticulously restored and furnished with period Louisiana and American antiques. A guided tour offers insight into Creole life in the early 1800s. Guided tours are available.
$10; $7 (ages 65+ and students with ID).
Station: City Park/Museum
Hours: Tours depart Wed.-Sat. 10-3. Last tour begins 45 minutes before closing. Closed Mardi Gras Day and major holidays. Allow 45 minutes minimum.
