AAA Inspector Notes
This elegant hotel is found on the main thoroughfare, bordering the French Quarter. Alexa tower units are compact while those in the Astor tower are larger. Room décor has a hint of NOLA pizzazz. The merging of the original Astor Hotel and a former retail store added additional room inventory to the well-appointed property. Stay here if you want to be in the middle of the action (and revelry) of Bourbon Street. Smoke free premises. 693 units. 6-14 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Nice location. Right in the middle of the action and walking blocks to every destination.
Pros: I loved that I could walk out the front door and right around the corner was bourbon street. Krystal was next door for am coffee. Starbucks was a crossed the street. The trolley was in front of the door and their was a Walgreens next door for forgotten items.
Cons: The room was not cleaned daily, we had to beg for wash cloths, they placed a small pillow case on a king side pillow, and we did not have a towel available when getting out of the shower. The floor was wet and I almost fell twice.

Pros: Location was excellent. We walked or took the trolley everywhere. Trolley stop right out front.
Cons: Very expensive parking fees. We did find a public lot right around the corner for $20 per 24 hours. Just had to remember to go back the second day and pay the machine again. Worth the savings.

Pros: The free breakfast for not having our room reserved was really good.
Cons: WiFI/cable did not work. Parking cost more than what was stated on the website. The room I reserved was not available at check-in. Went back next day to get correct room, receptionist did not want to change the room. Homeless people in front of entrance.

Pros: Roof top hotel was very nice.
Cons: The internet was not working and for someone traveling and not having service I needed to be able to use the internet. Also, the tv was not working. When I asked front desk about it they told me to go watch tv at a bar. Very rude.
