AAA Inspector Notes
This elegant hotel is found on the main thoroughfare, bordering the French Quarter. Alexa tower units are compact while those in the Astor tower are larger. Room décor has a hint of NOLA pizzazz. The merging of the original Astor Hotel and a former retail store added additional room inventory to the well-appointed property. Stay here if you want to be in the middle of the action (and revelry) of Bourbon Street. Smoke free premises. 693 units. 6-14 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: Location for Mardi Gras is the best. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Ice bucket broken and old ice not removed. Fresh cups not provided two days. No trash can at desk. Noisey elevators disturbed sleep. Difficult to see out very dirty window. No free internet. Expensive internet access.

Pros: The location is the only high point
Cons: Smelly halls, rooms. Had no micro wave or fridge, nasty bathroom, the windo was facing. A brick wall, could not see anything at all. Someone left a pair of soiled pants laying in hall way and was still there the next day, GROSS. How is this a 4 star hotel

Pros: The hotel was peaceful but close to everything. I dont like that there is no parking lot for the hotel.
Cons: There is no parking lot for the hotel. It cost $23 a day to park in the lot across the street, 2 blicks down.
