Pros: Wonderful people who work there. Very personable staff. The home would have been beautiful in its day. High ceilings that had been reinforced. Bed was ok, although things were falling apart everywhere. I applaud their attempts and passion for the properties but sadly, will not stay there again.
Cons: Property was a bit tired and smelled moldy. We were a bit shocked at the property condition when we arrived but the people were nice and welcoming. No welcoming wine, as advertised. Breakfast was ok - they tried hard. Neighbourhood has a sketchy run down air and we were advised not to travel the streets after dark. Air cond. working over time and mold in the bathroom - to be fair NOLA is very humid. Walk up very narrow stairs to what was probably once the servants quarters. Computer for a TV. Expensive for what you got.

Pros: I loved the personal touches and family history of the owners. I loved the antique furniture and decor, I felt like I stepped back in time, or was visiting a grandparents home. The hospitality was amazing.
Cons: The breakfast could have had more hot options, it was mostly breads, cereals and cold foods. The bathroom was really uncomfortably small and the shower door stuck often.
