Pros: The location was good because we experienced the mega bus for the first time. We were so close when we got to station we walked to the Homewood. Everyone at the hotel were great! Even the breakfast staff was so friendly and professional.

Pros: We loved the location. Within walking distance of many activities just bring good walking shoes! The complimentary supper on Tuesday evening was also tasty!

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful; Hotel Employee was very responsive late at night when our keys stopped working and moved us to a new room when it became apparent that it was a problem with the lock.

Pros: The room with the full size refrigerator, microwave & stovetop. Two double beds & pull out sofa.
Cons: Staff was not friendly. I called down early morning to ask for a small bag of ice and the clerk (she) informed me that what the ice maker in my room is for. I will always do Marriott. I'm a Marriott employee for 14 years. Lady at brkfst gave me some ice

Pros: Definitely well maintained hotel. Staffs where friendly. Breakfast and evening dinner was so good. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the spa.

Pros: The hotel is just a few blocks walking distance from Champion Square/Superdome. Parking is extremely convenient on side of hotel. Rooms are spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Need a better setup for breakfast. Didn't flow well. Long wait for certain dishes.

Overall I Loved The Scenery...
Pros: The Staff were super friendly and the hotel was actually in a good area... about a 10 min walk to Canal & Bourbon... The Complimentary Breakfast was GREAT... My Friends and I Will Definitely Book Again for Next Yr Mardi Gras!
Cons: The Sofa Bed was very uncomfortable but when you're in New Orleans you barely sleep from all the celebration anyway so it's nothing you can't bare...

Would most likely not stay...
Pros: Liked the full kitchen and separate sleeping space.
Cons: No tv from Thursday till Saturday - cable was being converted from analog to digital. Couldn't get straight answer from anyone when it would be fixed. Breakfast food was basically average with hot food being ice cold. Front desk staff couldn't care less with any issue brought to them felt like they were bothered whenever you asked a question. Not a good experience.

The blanket provided for the roll up was stained and covered in human hair.
The quality of the B'fast was poor and served on take-away containers.
Your reception staff were perfunctory at best and rude and terse on several occasions.
The coffee percolators failed on 2 occassions

Pros: The facility itself and the location were magnificent and veryfairly priced.
Cons: I received a phone call at 4:30am from the front desk, which obviouslywoke me up from a dead sleep, demanding my first and last name. When Igave my first and last name and my husband's name, the employee onthe other end told me she was on the phone with the police departmentand then hung up in my face?? I called the hotel the day I checked outdue to a full charge on the card I booked with, as well as the cardgiven at check-in for incidentals. When I requested the charge beapplied to the card I booked with (which they already had all theinformation for and read me my card number over the phone), she statedthat there was nothing they could do to reverse the charges from thecard given for incidentals and continue with the charge made to the cardI booked with and that she couldn't just take any card number I gaveher over the phone with no way to verify who I was (yet she read me mycard number and personal information with no way to verify who I was?!).I was told there was nothing they could do period and that it was myresponsibility to read the policy of the third-party I booked with(which I had done). When I explained to her the "policy" andthat my husband was still not informed at check-in that the entirecharge, not just an incidental hold, would be made to the card he wasgiving them, she stated that it wasn't their responsibility toexplain or inform guests of what the card they presented at check-in wasfor. I travel on business frequently, using third-party travel booking,and any time a similar issue has occurred, the hotel has always beenable to do an authorization form by fax or email to use the card thatwas booked with. They were rude, unprofessional, and offered noassistance.

Not worth the price of...
Pros: Set up of the room.
Cons: My room had been sold even though I requested late check in and called several times while on the road to inform desk of how far we were away, and these rooms had been reserved a month in advance. We had to stay at hotel across street for the first night. We had our bags at the hotel to place in our rooms when they were available the next day and still had to take our own stuff upstairs even though the clerk said they would handle it. Every issue was passed on as someone else didn't inform the next person. No one wanted to be responsible. Bathroom tub and sink were not in best shape. Our king suite bathroom had hair on floor around tub and toilet.

Cons: Broken glass in kitchen area from prior occupancy not cleaned up adequately. Daughter stepped in glass left behind and was able to extract. Front desk notified and provided first aide cream and bandages. Excellent response from housekeeping.

Pros: The rooms was clean, bed was comfortable and the two bedroom king had enough spacious for us.
Cons: The price of the Hotel is extremely high when there is a event in the City. Online had one price but when you called the hotel it was a different price. Then when we checked in it was a higher price then was we booked it. The breakfast was horrible and it was not a lot you can choose from. All the money we spent we should have had more options to choose from.
