AAA Inspector Notes
When describing this small hotel, the word 'charming' is an understatement. Tastefully appointed rooms are spread throughout several buildings, and many surround serene New Orleans style courtyards. The hotel is located on a somewhat quieter end of Chartres Street, but great restaurants, unique shops and Jackson Square are only a short stroll away. Only one of the buildings at this multiple structure property has an elevator. Smoke free premises. 92 units. 2-4 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.

Pros: The hotel was quiet, elegantly decorated, and close to everything.
Cons: Nothing. In 45 years of traveling, I've never had a better experience.

Pros: Great location. all staff were lovely and so helpful! Great hotel bar and the barmen were very chatty and pleasant. Pool area was fab and the smaller pool hidden away behind Angelines restaurant was even better! will definitely be returning to this hotel but would ask for an upper level room.
Cons: Room was musty which wasn't great for my asthma.

Pros: Comfortable beds and a beautiful courtyard.
Cons: The valet left my lights on. They killed my battery and didn't apologize or offer me anything for my troubles. After we got my car started they left me in the parking lot to walk back to the hotel.

Pros: The location was a bit away from everything which meant we walked a lot, but we were also able to sleep as it was fairly quiet. The towels were lovely, thick and luxurious, the bed linens were okay.
Cons: The Standard rooms face the parking lot and were very small. A fairly basic hotel.
