This is the classic steakhouse done with a New Orleans flair. USDA Prime beef is accompanied by live Maine lobster and market-fresh fish. The steaks can be topped with Creole butter, oysters, crab or a selection of classic sauces. A favorite is the house filet: an eight-ounce filet served with creamed spinach and Pontalba potatoes, topped with masa flash-fried Louisiana oysters and finished with béarnaise sauce. The club-like atmosphere with rich woods and leather features a lively lounge area. Hours are often expanded during special events. The location is near many hotels; Bourbon and Canal streets are just steps away.
